[Per Press Association.] DUNEDIN, June 7. Learning yesterday that not quite sufficient funds had been collected for the Dr Stuart memorial, Mr G. F. Bullen, an old colonist, sent in a cheque for ten guineas. The plaster cast of the statue is nearly ready, and it will shortly be sent Home and a bronze cast made. 'lt is expected that the statue will be ready for unveiling on March 23 next, the Jubilee Anniversary Day. It is anticipated that another JllsO will be required.
