GOOD TEMPLARS.
FPbb Press Association.! , ; WELLINGTON, April 24. The Grand Lodge of Good Templars has been in session during tho week, eightyeight members being present. The election of officers resulted as follows: —Grand chief, Bro Taylor; counsellor; Bro Walton; vice-counsellor. Sister Gunnell;- S.J.T., Sister Cameron; treasurer, Bro■ Thorne; chaplain, Bro Hall; secretary, Bro E. S. Andrews; marshal, Sister Roy. Tho report shows 6 district lodges, 126 subordinate lodges, and 4217 members. Alterations were suggested by resolution in the local option poll. Bros Johnston (Palmerston North) and Thompson (Wellington) were recommended for the offices of D R.W.G.T. and D.R.G.W.S.J.T. Bros Bennett and Weston were elected representatives on the Colonial Prohibition Council, It was decided to hold the next session in Christchurch two years hence.
