PAEROA-WAIHI RAILWAY.
[Per Press Association.! AUCKLAND. March 80. A letter has been received from the office of the Minister of Public Works by Mr B. E. Hunt, manager of the New Zealand Exploration Company, Limited, in connection with the proposed Paeroa-Waihi railway, informing that gentleman that instructions were given some time ago for a survey to ho made of jjhe proposed line; but that, owing to some departmental transfers of officers, there had been some delay ip the matter. The Minister intends being m the district in the course of a few weeks, when he hopes to see Mr Hunt on the subject.
