TO THE EDITOR. t Sir,— On many occasions I have not been satisfied with your treatment of Mr T. E. Taylor, but your foot-note to the letter of “No Confidence” in your issue of to-day is admirable. It is surprising bowanyone who pretends to consider could have penned such an egregious misrepresentation of Mr Taylor’s sentiments. He has repeatedly stated in public that he did not consider any class should bo accorded special privileges.' While free passes are granted to some visitors, Mr Taylor’s actions would he inconsistent with his professions if he was not strongly in-favour of that privilege being granted to a man who is in the very forefront on labour questions, and who has done so much for his fellows as Beu Tillett has.—l am, &c., ADMIRER.
