(_Pbr Press Association.] AUCKLAND, Ja‘n. 29. Negotiations for the sale of the Victoria Goldmining Company’s property are proceeding, and though they are in an advanced stage definiteness has not y6t been arrived at. This, however, may be expected in a few days. It is understood that the terms are favourable, giving about two shares for every one now held, with ample working capital. At a meeting of shareholders of the Great Barrier Gold and Silver Company a resolution was unanimously passed authorising the directors to sell the property. It was reported that negotiations had been entered into, and that a deposit of .£IOOO would be paid in a few days. *
