THE BUTLER MURDERS.
DISCOVERY OP LESAGH. [Per Press Association.] SYDNEY, Jan. 29. The doubts attending the whereabouts of Lesagh have been set at rest by his discovery at Grafton, where he was employed as a cook under an assumed name. He states that he nqver had anything to do with Butler. Lesagh’s proper name is Lescheit. He has been on the Clarence River for the past three years. He never read the newspapers, and knew nothing about his supposed disappearance. The question now is, who was the individual who met Butler and for whom Lescheit was mistaken ?
