LONDON, Nov. 20. English rabbits f)d, hares 2s 6d ; colonial, are unsaleable. Australian butter is in fair demand at 104 b, a few lots bringing 105 s.
Nov. 21. The P. and 0. Company has declared a dividend of 6J per cent. SYDNEY, Nov. 21.
The lambing returns averaged 54£ per cent, an increase of 241 per cent on the previous year. The intercolonial wool sales have been marked by keen competition. Prices have been strongly maintained, and have undergone little change. The better qualities of greasy merinoes show a tendency to further improvement. Scoured maintain their position, and inferior descriptions and cross-breds have a slightly weakening tendency.
The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Limited, has received cable advice as follows: LONDON, Nov. 20.
Sheepskins.—There is a good demand for medium and coarse cross-bred at Id advance.
