The steamer Anglian arrived from Sydney viA northern |>orts yesterday afternoon, in command of Captain Hood. The steamer Wakatu, which left Wellington on Sunday, was off Kaikoura on Monday morning, but owing to the heavy sea was unable to approach the wharf.
