For Northern Ports, Samoa, Sandwich Islands, North America, West Indies, United Kingdom and Continent of Europe (via San Francisco), per Takapuna, at 7.45 p.m.; late fee letters, 8 p.m.; guard’s van, 9.15 p.m. train; money orders, 4 p.m.; registered letters, 5 p.m.; books and newspapers, 7.30p.m. Due London Oct. 7. For Port Robinson, Cheviot and Kaikoura, per Wakatu, at 7.45 p.m.; late fee letters, 8 p.m.; guard’s van, 9.15 p.m. train. Thursday, Sept. 3. For United Kingdom, Continents of Europe and South America (via Monte Video), per Ruapehu, at 10 a.m.; late fee letters, 10.15 a.m.; guard’s van, 10.55 a.m. Money orders at 4 p.m. Registered letters and parcels at 5 p.m. the previous day. Mail due in London Oct. 16. For Northern Ports, per Hauroto, at 1.45 p.m.; late fee letters, 2 p.m.; guard’s van, 2.45 p.m. train. For Northern Ports and Australian Colonies (via Auckland), per Anglian, at 3 p.m.; late fee letters, 3.15 p.m.; guard’s van, 4 p.m. train. Saturday, Sept. 5. For Australian colonies, via Bluff, India, China, &c., also United Kingdom and Continent of Europe, via Suez, per express, to connect with Talune, at 10.30 a.m.; late fee letters, 10.40 a.m.; guard’s van, 11 a.m. Mail due London, Oct. 21. Mails for Raratonga and Tahiti close at Auckland, per Richmond, on Thursday, Sept. 4, at 11 a.m., and per Corinna on Sept. 5, at 7.45 p.m. Mails for Australia, &c., per Waihora, close at Auckland on Sept. 2, at 4 p.m. Mails for Australia, &c.. per Tekapo, close at Wellington on Sept. 2, at 1 p.m. E.
