SKIN SALES. Prices at yesterday’s sales of skins, &c., were a little easier. The range of prices wasßutchers’ best cross-breds 5s 3d to 6s Id, medium do 4s to ss, butchers’ best merinoes 3s 6d to 4s 6d, medium do 2s 6d to 3s 3d, station cross-breds 3s Gd to 4s 7d, station merinoes up to 4s; fat, id to 1-Id. Hides and calfskins sold at tariff rates. GEEALDINE. At the Geraldine fortnightly live stock sale on Wednesday the entry in sheep was between 7000,and 8000, and about half this number changed hands. Hoggets brought 7s 6d to 12s, forward two-tooth wethers 11s to 13s, fat two and four-tooth wethers 13s to 16s 9d, ewes in lamb 8s 6d to 13s, fat ewes 9s to 14s, cross-bred ewes in lamb 11s to 14s, merino ewes (sound-month) 5s 6d. In cattle there was a fair entry. Steers andheifers (two-year-old) brought4ss to 50s, calves 21s to 255, springing heifers X 5 to
1 X's 15s. In pigs' there was a poor entry but a big demand. A sow. in young was sold for 275, and weaners brought 6s 3d to 7s 6d,-small stores 7s to 9s. The attendi ance was good.
