Mails close for the following places as under, subject to the necessary alterations : Monday, April 6. For Akaroa, per Brunner, at 10 a.m. For Northern Ports, per Omapere, at 10 a.m. For Napier, per Aotea, at 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 8. For Northern Ports and Australian colonies, per Wakatipu, at 3 p.m. Postal Easter Holidav Arrangements. —On Easter Monday offices usually open to the public will bo open from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. only, and mails usually despatched in the afternoon will be closed at 10 a.m. There will bo no deliveries by letter-carriers, but on Saturday, April 4, there will be an afternoon delivery in all letter-carrier districts.
