SELWYN WATER SUPPLY.

TO THE EDITOR. Sir, —Myself and many others have had our water supply cut off since March 20, of which no notice was given; and as many have almost wholly to depend on their milk supply for a living, the stoppage of the water-races is a great _ hardship, as according to the Dairying Act we cannot dispose of the milk if the cows drink stagnant water, and we never know when the inspector will pay us a visit. I think water-ratepayers should form an association, as individually they are treated with contempt by the Selwyn County Council and the water-race officials. —I am, &c., WAITAEAMOA.
