Our Eangiora cor>espohdent-writes North Canterbury again had the benefit of several hours’ heavy rain during Thursday evening. At midnight a severe thunderstorm passed over the district, the lightning being very vivid and tha peals of thunder exceptionally long. Yesterday, the weather was stormy in the bids and showers occasionally extended over the plains.
