THE CLOSE OF THE SESSION.

TO THE EDITOR. Sir, —As I pay my share towards the payment of our M.H.R.’s, I should like to remind them that I pay them for a year’s work, and I should bo quite as well pleased if they would sit for another month, if necessary, to get a few useful measures passed, say the Pensions for the Aged Bill, an Eight Hours Bill, and the Referendum Bill. Of course, I should have liked to have seen a State Bank Bill passed, but, as Mr M. Verrall observes, we seem to be further off than ever as regards such a desirable piece of business being transacted. Hitherto I consider that the present session has been devoted to the classes; another month should be devoted to the masses.—l am, &c., DISSATISFIED ELECTOR.
