Mr Cresswell appeared for the accused, who pleaded not guilty. After hearing the evidence the Bench convicted and discharged the accused. (Before Mr H. W, Bishop, S.M.) Civil Case.— Pattison, a Maori, sued another Native, Henry Urn, for 17s fid damages alleged to have been done by defendant’s horses and cow on March 6 and 29. Green was interpreter, and, after hearing evidence, the Bench gave judgment for plaintiff for 15s and coats.
