FPeb Press Association.! AUCKLAND, July 29. The oldest army pensioner in New Zealand, Quartermaster - Sergeant Hill, died to-day, aged ninety-two. He came to Auckland in 1849 with the pensioners under Colonel Haulfcaia. Mr J. T. Philips, surveyor, and party, returned from the Uriwera Country today, the triaugulation of the Uriwera Country being practically completed. Edward Hsylick Vray, an elderly man, has been committed for trial on a charge of being concerned in an illegal operation.
