[Teb Peess Association.] DUNEDIN, July 15. The following are the mining returns for the weak:-—Upper Waipon Dredge, 19oz 4dwt; Enterprise Dredge, Alexandra, 2Soz sdwt ISgrs ; Jutland Plat, Waipori Dredge, lOoz 13dwt; Sew Hoy Big Beach Company's Dredge, 490 z 15dwt 18gre. At the annual meeting of the Dunedin Gold-dredging Company, the Chairman said that £3870 had been paid in dividends during the year, which meant 111 per cent; but the latter end of the year had not been so favourable, and they were .£540 in arrears on June 30. However, the past fortnight had yielded a profit of .8140. The claim on which they had been working so long, and out of which they had taken £331,300 worth of gold, had become worked out, and the dredge had been shifted lower down the river.
