Mails close for the following places as under, subject to the necessary alterations;— Monday, Jan. 28. For Northern Ports and Westport, per Corinna, at 11.10 a.m.; late fee letters, 11.20 a.m.; guard’s van, 12,10 p.m. train. \ For Timaru, per Omspore, at 3 p.m.; lata fee letters, 3.15 p.m.; guard’s van, 4 p.m. train, Tuesday, Jan. 29, For Puyaegur Point and Cromarty, per express, at 10.30 a.m.; lata fee letters, 10.40 a.m.; guard’s van, 11 a.m. train. For Northern Ports, New South Wales and Queensland, per Hauroto, at 3 p.m.; late fee letters, 3.15 p.m.; guard’s’van, 4 p.m. tram. For Northern Ports, per Rotorua, at 7.45 p.m.; late fee letters, 8 p.m.; guard’s van, 9.15 p.m. train. On Wednesdays (until further notice) a mail will be closed at 6 a.m. for Port Levy. E.
