[Fks Pbess Association.] DUNEDIN. Npy, 22. The Education Board has effected economies amounting to over .£4OO. It has reduced the Secretary’s salary by £IOO, the Inspectors’ travelling allowance by £lO and made it .£IOO each, and fixed the salary of the third Inspector at £4OO. The Board decided to maintain its attitude in supporting Miss White at i£oa creek. At the Anglican Synod to-night, the following ware appointed a Cathedral Chapter:—Dean, the Rev A. R. Fitchefct f canons, the Revs Dodds, W. A. Diggens, Gould and Lucas j laity. Dr Hooken, Messrs P. Neil, H. P, Hardy and C. H. Stathnm. Dredge 222 having undergone a thorough overhaul, leaves for Lyttelton tormorrow to work tor the Lyttelton Harbour Board*
