NEW SOUTH WALES V. CANTERBURY.
ARRANGEMENTS. The Cricket Association has endeavoured to study the interest of the public as much as possible in the forthcoming match against the Now South Wales team. The usual charge of ouo shilling for admission to the ground will be made to gentlemen, but ladies and school boys will be admitted for sixpence, the same charges being made for admission to the grand stand enclosure. Bach day after 4.80 p.m. a uniform charge of sixpence , will be made. Scoring cards will be printed and circulated on tbe ground. The cards will have the names of the" two teams printed on them, with a number, opposite each player’s name. The scoring boards on the ground will show the "numbers” of the batsmen at the wicket, at the top of the boards, and the “ numbers ” representing the bowlers at the bottom of the boards, so that the public can immediately- ascertain the names of the players batting or bowling. Seats will ba placed in the grandstand enclosure, and also on the terraces. Afternoon tea will be obtainable at the moderate cost of sixpence, in the luncheon room or at the outside booths. Those of the public who do not wish to miss any of the play, can obtain luncheon ou the ground at a moderate charge. Reports of the various stages of -the play will ba forwarded by telephone, and displayed at the offices of the Times and Press newspapers, and also at Messrs Davies and Lamb’s shop.
