[Pbb Pbebs Association.! WELLINGTON, Jan. 26. Martin and Harnold, two pork butchers, have been fined £2 and £5, with costs, for nob giving their assistants a statutory half-holiday in the week beginning Jan. 8. The latter’s case was aggravated by his telling the Inspector that he did not intend to comply with the Act. The Eesi« dent Magistrate observed that defendant would find it a costly game.
