MARKET REPORTS.

PIG AND POULTRY SALES. The weekly sales of pigs and poultry war# held on Saturday last, and were well attended. Messrs Wilson and Sons report having sold 210 pigs atthe following prices i —Heavy baconers at from 41s to 48s 6d, light baconers 85s to 40s, heavy porker* 19s to 25a 6d, light porkers 17s fid to 205,, uteres 18s 6d to 20s, weaners 7s to lie, breed* ing sows 87s to 50b, The tone of the market was very good. - They also sold about 1000 head of poultry j He*vy ; roosters at from 4s, light roosters 8s to 3s 6d, old hens 2s, young hens 2« 6d, ducks 2s 9d to 8s fid, geese 4s 9d to 6s turkeys, hens 7s 9d, gobblers 24s fid. The! market was good except for bid hens.' Mr H. B. Sorenson reports having sold 98 pigs. Heavy porkers at 275, light porkers' 19a, stores 12a to 16a fid, weaners 7s9dto; 12a 3d; breeding bows 46a, The market was brisk. He also sold 805 head of ( poultry. Heavy roosters at from 8s 6dj to 4s, light roosters 2s 9d to Bs, old hen* la fid to 2s, young hens 2s to Bs, docks 2«: 3d to 3s 9d, geese 6s fid to 7s, turkeys 10a to 26a fid.

SHEEPSKINS, HIDES ! AND EAT. The usual; weekly sales o i sheepskins,' hides and faf-were held at th e stores of the, various auctioneers yesterday. There vu the usual attendance of the trade. The, skin market was slightly uneven with ft; downward tendency, but hides, calfskins and fat remain steady at late rates. Mr IV 0. Tabart sold 1147 skins,, 30 hides and; 47packages of fat, at the following prices j 1 —Best faalf-breos 43 to ss, best merinos 8s 10d to 4e 2d, medium 2s 6d to 3s 9d; lambs laM; pelts Is 3d- rough fat l|d to 2d per lb.
