PIG AND POULTRY SALES. The weekly sales of pigs and poultry war# held on Saturday last, and were well attended. Messrs Wilson and Sons report having sold 210 pigs atthe following prices i —Heavy baconers at from 41s to 48s 6d, light baconers 85s to 40s, heavy porker* 19s to 25a 6d, light porkers 17s fid to 205,, uteres 18s 6d to 20s, weaners 7s to lie, breed* ing sows 87s to 50b, The tone of the market was very good. - They also sold about 1000 head of poultry j He*vy ; roosters at from 4s, light roosters 8s to 3s 6d, old hens 2s, young hens 2« 6d, ducks 2s 9d to 8s fid, geese 4s 9d to 6s turkeys, hens 7s 9d, gobblers 24s fid. The! market was good except for bid hens.' Mr H. B. Sorenson reports having sold 98 pigs. Heavy porkers at 275, light porkers' 19a, stores 12a to 16a fid, weaners 7s9dto; 12a 3d; breeding bows 46a, The market was brisk. He also sold 805 head of ( poultry.
