Tho following will play for the Midland President’s Cup team against tha Boys’ High School on Saturday, on Christ’s College ground: —• Atkinson, Bumper, Morgan, Murphy, Koss, Schneider, M’Natuaia, Walsh, Young, Henderson, Robertson $ emergencies—-Sopor and Fraser. In a cricket match yesterday afternoon Mr 0. Pavitt, of tho Lancaster Park Club, scored 198 not out in a match against tho Christchurch Drapers.: The New Zealand record is 220, made some years ago by Mr 0. Strange, of tho Midland Club, in a match Banks v. Insurance Companits. The President’s Cup match Lancaster Park v. Addington was won by the latter last evening by 25 runs. Wright and Jones bowled in excellent form, pulling the match out of the fire in fine stylo.
