A NATIVE SUCCESS. [Special to Pbk -:b association.! CAPETOWN, Dec. 13. Major Forbes has captured Lobeugula. Dec. 14. The reported capture of King Lobeugula by Major Forbes is premature. A detachment of the lattar’s force, under Captain Wilson, overtook Lobengula’s waggou on the banks of theShaaganiriver. Thenatives werain ambuscade and hotly attacked Captain Wilson’s men, compelling them to retire. A sudden riso in the Shangani prevented a junction between Major Forbes’ troops and Captain Wilson’s detachment. The position of tbe latter is perilous, and Major Forbes is attempting to cross the river to their assistance.
