Chalmere, Esq.) _ v Drunkenness, &c. —Michael Fisher, a seaman belonging to'the barque Her* mione, was charged with having been drunk, with. havirut wilfully damaiXGd pro* norty to f.lio value of 30s in the Bail way Ho*el, and with baring assaulted and resisted the police. Ho was convicted of drunkenness, fined Isandcosts,and s'2a for daniagdnf' properly, and ordered to pay’ £5, with the alternative of fourteen days’ imprisonment, for resisting the police. KATAPOL Monday, Dec. 11. (Before IL W. Bishop, Esq., 8.K., J. L. Wilson, G. H. Blackwell and E. Moore, jSrqs.) Prohibition Order. A prohibition order was granted against Robert Ross, ext an ding over the KrJapoi, Eeagiora, Mandeville, Cost, Erretoa and Avon districts for twelve months. A Caution. —Samuel Drabble, a youth, was charged with having used language which tended to provoke a breach of the pesca. He admitted having done so, and the Bench severely cautioned him.
