THE CHRISTCHURCH MEMBERS.

TO THE EDITOR. Sir,—l for one, as an elector, very much applaud Mr Sandford’s determination not to interfere with the thirdly-elected candidate’s election. Supposing that thera existed a chance of unseating Mr Collins, which I do not for a moment adroit, yet I am of opinion that Mr Sand ford is tha only man who can he used for this purpose. He has honestly, sad in a manly-like manner determined to abide by the voice of the people, and he deserves the thanks of tho constituency accordingly. This being so, I fail to see who can question the election even if Mr Coliina hsd made a mistake in allowing himself to be placed in nomination. I am confident of this, that if he haa erred at all ia this respect it waa quite unwittingly.—l am, &e.. MICHAEL HART.
