[Special to Press Association.] LONDON, August 2. At the annual meeting of the Bunk of New Zealand, Mr R. H. Q-lyn, Chairman, said that the deposits were increasing faster than the Bank could possibly employ them. The advances to the New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company were amply secured. The report was adopted and the retiring Directors re-elected. An additional <£600,000 in gold has been sent to New York. The quantity of wheat and flour afloat for the United Kingdom is three million and eighty thousand quarters, and for the Continent one million five hundred thousand quarters. The American visible supply of wheat is 68,700,000 bushels, BUDA-PESTH. August 2. The Hungarian harvest is largely in excess of the estimate. NEW YOEK, August 3. ' There is a better feeling in financial circles throughout the States. The National Mortgage and Agency Company of New Zealand, Limited, has received a cable message, stating that the Tainui left Capetown on Wednesday afternoon for Port Chalmers, Lyttelton and Wellington.
