It ia particularly requested that during the Parliamentary session all reports, and all letters to the Editor, may be made as short as possible. All communications intended for insertion must be authenticated by the name and address of the writer, not necessarily for publication, bat as a guarantee of good faith. Correspondents are specially reminded that letters should be written on one BIDE OF THE PAPEB OHLT. Letters, copies of which are addressd to other journals, will not be published in the “Lyttelton Times.” We do not undertake to insert any communications which are not accompanied with the assurance nat our rule on this subject is complied with by our correspondents. NOTICE TO ADVERTISERS. Orders to withdraw advertisements must be eent in, in writing, to the Publishing Office not later than six o’clock p.m. each day.
