LARRIKINISM IN WALTHAM.
TO THE EDITOR. Sib,—l am glad to see attention drawn, through the medium of your paper, to the larrikin nuisance which is becoming such a source of annoyance in the Waltham district. It is positively disgraceful that respectable people cannot proceed to and from their homes without meeting with jeers and input ts from congregated gangs of young fellows who, aa they evidently do not know better, to be taught so. I trust that the police will awaken to a sense of their duty and endeavour to catch some of the culprits, and thus rid the neighbourhood of such an objectionab e acquisition..—Thanking you for your space, I am, &0,, X. X.
