FOOTBALL.

TO THE EDITOR.

Sib, —I have often notice! in watching a game of football tbit after the bailie touched down it is carried into the field of play and placed for a goal to be kicked, but that there seems to be no fixed spot in the player’s mind where the hall should be placed. Now, there is one spot, and one only. Where the ball should be placed to give the player the most favourable kick. I v, ould ask any footballer if he can tell ms where this spot is, and how to find it. As this is a matter of great importance to all who indulge in this manly game, I trust to be favoured with aa answer through your columns,—l am,. &c., X.
