Deft Hobart at 8 p.m., passed the Solandora at a p.m. on July 81, arriving off Dog Island at 6.30 p.m., and anchored till morning. Sheexperienced fine weather till the morn' ingof July 29, when an easterly gale of exceptional severity sprang up; it moderated on nearing Preservation Inlet on Monday at noon.
