VETERANS v. PAPANUI. Yesterday a match, was played between the Veterans’ Cricket Club and a team selected from the married members of the Papanui Cricket Club. The game was played on the recreation ground, and resulted in a hollow victory for the Veterans, who, both in the field at the wickets, proved their prowess.
