Messrs 6. Hart and E. W. Seager had offered to giveitheir " Old Canterbury” entertainment in aid of the ambulance carriage fund. On the matter being fully discussed it was decided to accept tho offer with thanks. week (March 24) was named for the date, td tbe Oddfellows’ Hall for the place, if ailable. The tickets were fixed at 2s ? reserved seats. Is for the body of the skll and the gallery, and children halfmice. All other details were left to the fijhairman to arrange. The ambulance carriage fund at present amounts to £2l la 7d, and £BO is the amount required to nurchaee the vehicle desired. Bank balance m credit, £ll 6s 7d. Accounts were Hissed for payment amounting to £9 15s. This concluded the business.
