The steamer Wakatipu arrived in port yesterday morning from Dunedin, bringing passengers and cargo transhipped from the Tarawers from Melbourne. The Wakatipu left last evening for Sydney and Wellington. The New Zealand and Australasian Steamship Company’s steamer Warrimoo arrived in port yesterday morning from Melbourne via southern ports. She is in command of Captain T. M’Gee, who a few years ago was in the Union Steamship Company’s service. She left Sydney on Dec. 31, Melbourne on Jan. 4, called at Milford and George Sounds, Bluff and Port Chalmers, and left the last-named port at 6 p.m. on Jan. 11.
