: The adjourned annual meeting of the Malvern Licensing Committee v.as held at Sheffield da'Thursday; present—Messrs Eutherford (Chairman), Cunningham, Beeoh and Eraser. The license of the Bluff Hotel, Coalgate, was granted to Joel Eeed, and temporarily transferred to John Crysell. Renewals were granted to Messrs Cloudesley, Hewott and O’Malley. It was resolved, the Chairman dissenting—" That in future no renewals will be granted to any applicant no leas his application be supported by him personally at the meeting.” The Commit'ee agreed that no extension of hours would be granted during the year to any holder of a license in the district.
