ALDINGTON YARDS.

YESTERDAY'S MARKET. The weather was a favourable contrast to that experienced at last week's market, and in consequence there was a heavy entry of stock in most departments and a large attendance of buyers. Stobe Sheep.—Nearly 4000 store sheep were yarded, for which there was a fair demand, particularly for good sorts of croBS-bred ewes, to lamb early, and young stock for finishing. Fully half of the entry consisted of cross-bred lambs of all classes, which sold at from 103 to 13s 6d, the latter price being given for a good line of forwardconditioned sorts. Several small lines of two-tooths were satisfactorily sold at from 12s 9d to 14s ; some two and four-tooth ewes, in lamb, brought 16s 4d, and some four and six-tooths realised 16« Bd. Empty ewes sold at from lis 3d to 12s 7d, and two lines of merino ewes brought 7s 8d and Bs. A few lines of dry ewes were withdrawn, but most were sold afterwards by private treaty.
