THE BUILDING TRADE.

TO THE EDITOR. Sib,—-A local in the Times on Wednesday, Feb. 10, beaded " Signs of The Times,” is, to say the least of it, very misleading. It states that all the carpenters here are now fully employed, which is not the case, as' there are now a great many idle, and many of them are first-rate hands. By inserting the above you will greatly oblige the trade.—l am, &c., SECRETARY CANTERBURY : BUILDING TRADES COUNCIL.
