ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.
TEE MOUNT EGMONT FATALITY. [Pur Press Association.! NEW PLYMOUTH, Feb. 12. At the inqiiest held on the body of Mr South wood, ■ which was brought in from the top of Mourn t Egmont last evening, the evidence gm in was much the same as has already been telegraphed. A verdict was returned this it the deceased was found dead on Mount Bgmont with no marks of violence. Thu body will be buried in the Henui Cemetiery this afternoon. The money found .on the body has been handed over to decease d's uncle. An accident .of a somewhat serious nature happened on Thursday evening to Mr Maurice O’Connttllwho is universally known in the northern district. As he was returning home from 'ftV'aikari his horse fell with him. There are no bones broken, but Mr O’Cormick has ha d a very severe shaking. He was taken to i fae Waipara Hotel.
