Lanccvm lias resigned bis position in the Ministry, in consequence of the revelations which have cocao out during the inquiry into thn charges of bribery and corruption. Sir H. Latigovin, examined before the Covnmittee of Inquiry, categorically denied tho charges of corruption. The Senate of Quo tec is determined to sift the BMo Chaleur Railway scandal to tho bottom, and refused permission to withdraw tho Bill now before the Parliament of that province, Mr Piicancl, financial manager for the Hon 11, Mncier, Premier of Q'ab-e, is charm'd with recoiling a hundred thousand dollars. The Senate threatens to arrest all tho principals concerned in, the affair.
