TO THS EDITOIi. - Sin,—l see a letter in your parer, sug-9-esciog • that Mr Moore’s Glerfmatk Estate should be purchased by the : Govern-' ment and cutup into small farms and let on long leases at a fair rental. I quite agree with this suggestion. As it is, a man with a small sum of money cannot get laud in New Zealand, and I think the time has come when something should be done for tho-e in want of homes. I hop* the present Government will see to this at once.—l am, &c., WANT' LAND.
