LISBON. Juke 3. The Portuguese commander on the Pungwe demands six thousand troops and an increased fiotilia.
CAPETOWN, Juke 3 % It is doubted if the Boer expedition to Mashonaland is furnished with any large quantity of provisions. Numerous bands of Boers are moving in the same direction. Sir H. Loch has reiterated his warning to President Kruger to restrain them. [Received June S, at 8.10 p.m.l PRETORIA, Juke 2. The "trekking” expedition of Boers to Mashonaland left here today, despite the protests of President Kruger. CAIRO, Juke 2, The locust plague is visiting the Delta and other parts of Egypt. Stringent measures are being taken to remove it.
