LITTLE RIVER. An ordinary meeting was held oh Monday ; present—Mr Coop (Chairman) and Messrs H. White, F. xavander and W. BirdJing.—Messrs Jones and Farlaod asked that some repairs be effected on theChproh road at Little River. The Clerk. was instructed to have the repairs effected as soon as possible.—Mr Joyce, M.H.R., wrote enclosing a letter from the Chief Inspector of Stock, Intimating that it was improbable that the Government would stop the importation of stoats, ferrets, and weasels while rabbits were eo numerous.
