The census recently taken throughout Austria-Hungary shows that the oldest woman, so far as is known, is a widow named Jenei, residing in Szegedin. She is stated to be 114 years of ago, and when the census commissioners asked for some proof she produced a faded yellow paper, which bore date 1790, and which the owner described as her first love-letter. Her youngest " boy/' fiaebeucalis him, is siityfour.
