The National Mortgage and Agency Company has received the following ad vibe:—The Doric sailed from Hobart at seven o’clock this morning. The four-masted ship Hinemoa, some particulars of which were given in our shipping columns yesterday, comes to this port to load for London. She left Melbourne on Friday last for Otago Heads for orders, and upon arrival there will be ordered to Lyttelton. Captain M'Millan, who brought her out from Loudon, is now in Lyttelton, and loaves to-morrow for London in the Tainui, as his health is failing. Captain Niooll, who had charge of the barque Olenlora, will arrive in Lyttelton daring the next day or so to await the arrival of the Hinemoa, when he will assume charge of her. She is being brought down from Melbourne by Captain H. Anderson, one of her owners, and has 900 tons of coal on board for Lyttelton, The many friends of Captain Lowry, of the American brigantine Nettie, which vessel caught fire while loading a cargo of flax at Lyttelton, will, no doubt, be glad to hear that the little vessel safely reached her port of destination Boston. She arrived on April 18, after a passage of only eighty-eight days. The steamer Takapuna left Manukau at 10.30 a.m. on May 25, called at Taranaki, and reached Wellington at 3 a.m. on May 27; left again eame day at 3 p.m., and arrived at 7.30 a.m. yesterday. She left again last night for northern ports. The steamer Waihora left Port Chalmers at 4.30 p.m. on Wednesday, and reached Port at 8.15 a.m. yesterday, having experienced fine weather on the passage. She took a large number of passengers to Sydney. vi 4 Wellington, last evening. The Ellis liner Jubilee left Port Chalmers at 1.15 p.m. on Wednesday, cleared the Heads at 2 p.m., and had light head winds to arrival at 7.15 a.m. yesterday. As usual she was a full ship with passengers, and Messrs Kinsey and Co., her agents, have been refusing applications for berths since Wednesday last. Yesterday morning the ship Brambletye was signalled from the Heads, and during the evening the tug brought her up to the anchorage. She is a vessel of 1495 tons, and is owned by Messrs W. R. Price and Co., of London, for whom she was built in 1876 by the Barrow Shipbuilding Company. She is 241 ft Sin long, 39£t 2in beam, and 23ft lin depth of hold. She comes into Port from Newcastle, and has on board 2000 tons of coal, consigned to Mr 0. W. Turner, who has chartered her to the New Zealand Shipping Company to load at this port for London. She is commanded by Captain Malcolm, and the passage just completed occupied twelve days. TELEGRAPH NOTICE BOARD. Departures.
