COMMERCIAL.
Messrs Harrison, Jones and Devlin, of Sydney, report under date July 21:— Daring the past week a good business has been done in wheat, and late rates have been well maintained throughout. We quote prime New South Wales 3s 6d to Sa Bd, New Zealand 3s 2d to 3s 5d for best, ohiokfeed 2s 7d to 2s lOd for good, whilst inferior can be quoted at from 2s 4d. Oats —ln these there is a slightly better tone, and all milling lines on offer are readily sold at from Is lid to 2s Id per bushel. Dark and medium meet with slow competition at from la 9d. Maize—Prime old meets with a good demand, and sales have been made at to 2s 9d, whilst medium and inferior meets with a fair inquiry at from 2s 3d to 2s sd. Bran and Pollard—Market is quiet, and but few sales are effected at from 6fd to 7-jd per bushel. Potatoes are in good demand, and selling at from £4 per ton.
