Stanhope, the Secretary of State for War, is very evasive on the subject of; the reported * mutiny of the Grenadiers. It ia asserted that the Grenadiers mistook the hour for parade, and that it was not their intention to mutiny. The Duke of Cambridge and Lord Woiseley conferred with Colonel Maitland, but the result of their deliberations waa not made known. [Received July 10, at 1.35 a.m.] ’ The Grenadiers who were confined to barracks ia consequence of the alleged mutiny have been released.
