[Pke Phess Association.] DUNEDIN. Mat 2, The delegatee from the vVharf Labourers’ Union brought their Conference to a close this evening, the whole of tho rules having been carefully revised. A resolution was passed expressing sympathy with the Canterbury Typographical Association in regard to* their difficulty with Messrs Whitcombs and Tombs. fully endorsing the proceedings taken, and recommending that tho case be b-C"ght before each branch of Cm k-■ v.' ■- and any delegates who on- a. - i.i-r■ ■ 1 ■- hcuool committees to br-ug i.;o ir.ui.ber before the different Boa • -U and prevent the firm from getting their printing work.
