THE FRENCH ELECTIONS. [lir ELECT RIO TELEGRAPH.—COPYRIGHT,] [Special to Press Association.] [Received Sept, 19, at 12.40 a.m.] PAbIS, Sept. 18. In the course of a speech to-day, M. Andrieux, member for the Department of the Rhone, accused the Government of spending twenty million francs in bribing the Press and candidates for the Chamber. He stated that money was obtained by blackmailing the Credit Fonder and the Panama Canal Company.
