CHRISTCHURCH AMATEUR SWIMMING CLUB.

The ninth annual sports and swimming competitions of this Club were held at the West Christchurch School Baths on Saturday afternoon. The Club were favoured with exceptionally fine weather, and the sport was consequently excellent. To add to the success of the sports a large number of ladies graced the scene with their presence. At the conclusion of the races, details of which are appended, the Club’s popular Captain, Mr Arthur Francis, announced that Messrs W. E. Sneddon and T.
