At the Liverpool Spring Meeting to-day the Grand National Steeplechase resulted as under;— tee grand national steeplechase of 1000 bovb, additd to a sweepstakes of l£ga each, 10 ft and 6 only to the fund, if declared; second to receive HO sots and third 100 soys from tho stake; a handicap for four-year-olds and upwsurSe. Rutherford's b b M.P., by Nunoham— Nevada 3 [Fxb Puss Association.] AUCKLAND, March 31. A Pony and Trotting Race Meeting was held at Epsom on Saturday under the auspices of the Onehunga Racing Club. The Pony Cup was won by Secret, which, however, finished last in the first event, and the jockey, S. Cook, acknowledged that he did not ride to orders in that race. The Stewards disqualified Cook for three months. CANTERBURY TROTTING CLUB. Settling in connection with the late meeting of the Canterbury Trotting Club will take place at S p.m. to-day, at the A 1 Hotel.
